Meeting The BIG BLUE BUG

Meeting the Big Blue Bug in Providence, Rhode Island was a dream come true. Passing by that large termite on I-95 all my life, wondering what it would be like seeing it up close.

Jen had a connection with someone who knew Brian, one of the owners of Big Blue Bug Solutions, the exterminator company that owns the bug, who I would later find out to be named, Nibbles Woodaway. Brian could not have been nicer and more accommodating to us, and he really embraced the concept of our podcast and Big Stuff in general. He had great stories about the business that his family had started 2 generations ago and, of course, stories about his father creating Nibbles 40 years ago.

Finally came the moment I've been waiting for: getting on the roof and meeting Nibbles in person. Nibbles was bigger than I thought. I decided that I needed to nibble on Nibbles. Unsurprisingly, it didn't taste that good. We had a great time together for what seemed like hours. I think we took Nibbles out for ice cream and a show, but I could be mistaken.

It was a great Big Stuff experience that will be remembered forever.
